PTA
The parent plays a crucial role in their children’s education, education given at school is just a continuation of what children have been taught at home. The school could not pretend to provide a good education to children without the help of parents, it is with this in mind that parents and the school work hand in hand to give the student the very best start on the road to success.
PTA is simply an association of parents, teachers, and school administration. The principal action is to discuss with the school administration how to enhance the smooth running of activities, help the administration solve problems, make suggestions, and implement innovations.
PTA’s main goal is to help the school administration improve life from all angles of its activities. It has a general assembly at the start of the year, members of the executive committee meet once every two months and discuss different issues about the life of the school (academics, social, food, security, and hygiene). During the general assembly, parents express their willingness to be members of the executive committee and the general assembly approves them, they gain from joining the association pride to participate in their children’s education and having a say in the running of the school.
PTA is run by a president and a vice president (both are parents), and it has subcommissions with heads (pedagogy commission, fundraising, and event organization, human and security commission).
