The Science Club offers students opportunities to participate in numerous scientific experiments and discussions that will further enhance their understanding of the World of Science. The club gives passionate students a chance to look deeper into the reasoning behind experiment results and extend their knowledge about Science. The goal of Science Club is to get students interested in science at a young age and introduce them to scientific concepts that they may not be fully familiar with in hopes that they can latch onto an idea or subject that they find themselves really passionate about. Our main goal in the club is to open students’ knowledge scope in the world of science. Club patrons are, Mrs. Maureen, Mr. Maxim and Mr. Munene.
2. BASKETBALL CLUB
Basketball is a team sport and the game is played between two sides. The core objective in a basketball game is to score points by putting the ball inside the hoop (basket) and to prevent the opposing team from doing the same. We will build a young team that will challenge other schools in the beautiful game of basketball. Various skills will be practiced to ensure we bring out refined basketballers. Our club patron is Mr. Venant.
3. ART CLUB
This is one of the most popular club. It is headed by Mr. Denis. The club aims at exposing and testing student’s creativity and help them improve on their artistic skills. The purpose of art club is to provide students who have an interest in art, an opportunity to explore art and craft forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum. It gives students the opportunity to work individually and in groups.
4. CHESS CLUB
It helps children develop the skills and social dexterity so important in society. Chess encourages self-assessment, healthy competition and teamwork. We aim to achieve pre-set objectives and for the purpose of individual improvement. We will produce best chess team that will challenge other chess players in Burundi and beyond.

Chinese Club dedicated to creating awareness and an understanding of the Chinese and related Asian culture, heritage, and identity. The club strives to facilitate academic, social, and cultural interaction among students, faculty, and members of the community through various events. Together with Confucius Institute in Burundi, the club will thrive.

Journalism Club’s mission in BIMS is to bring more journalism education into the school, give every child the opportunity to learn journalism skills, and to influence the use of social media for disseminating factual, not fake, news and information. We will develop young journalists that will be reporting news during the assembly. We hope that a school magazine to be developed and designed by our students will benefit both the school and the students. Our club patron is Mr. Edwin.
